E-TEN has announced the Glofiish M800 which we first found out about back in early October. Very similar to the X800, it adds a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a faster processor and a more powerful battery. At a launch event held in the UK E-TEN Information Systems has introduced the Glofiish M800, an industry leading Pocket PC Phone that combines the current most advanced mobile technologies to deliver a premium mobile communications experience. In terms of features, the Glofiish M800 sets a new highest standard which few, if any, currently available handsets from other vendors are able to match.
The E-TEN M800 wil be powered by a 500MHz Samsung processor and Windows Mobile 6 Professional. It will include quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band HSDPA/UMTS connectivity, a 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen display, 64MB RAM and 256MB ROM, built-in GPS (SirFStar III chipset), 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, a back-facing 2MP and a front-facing VGA camera and a microSD expansion slot.
The E-Ten Glofiish M800 will be available starting in December for £399.
