The Gumball 3000 Rally started in 1999 and has taken place every year ever since. As the name implies, it is a 3,000 mile race around Europe. This year, the rally starts in London on April 29th and runs through France, Belgium, Germany, Turkey, Greece and many other European countries before finishing back in London on May 4th.
This year, HTC is sponsoring the Gumball 3000 Rally by outfitting each car with a T-Mobile MDA Compact III with built-in GPS.
