Apple and China Mobile, the largest wireless operator in China, are talking about offering the iPhone in China. One item that is still being negotiated is the revenue sharing plan. Apple has put such plans in place with the carriers that offer the iPhone so far so it’s not a surprise to see it on the table here as well.
There is no hint as to when the iPhone could launch in China but we will probably see a few announcements in 2008 as Apple has also begun talks with operators in other Asian countries.
