The Joby GorillaPod family continues to grow. The youngest sibling is the GorillaPod Solo which was unveiled at the PMA 2007 trade show. Unlike the previous models, the Solo is not a tripod but a single-link monopod.
Available either in a 20-inch or 30-inch length, the Solo is much longer than the other models, allowing it to be wrapped around much larger objects. It comes with the same quick release head as the GorillaPod SLR.
The GorillaPod Solo will cost $29.95 USD for the 20-inch version and $39.95 USD for the 30-inch one.
