SSD capacities continue to increase at an impressive pace. In January, there was a flurry of announcements with capacity topping out at 128GB courtesy of A-Data. Adtron Corporation has now announced a 2.5-inch 160GB SSD available either in IDE or SATA variants.
These new drives are no slouches either, delivering sustained read/write performance of about 70MB/s.
Adtron did not reveal pricing, a good sign that you should not rip out that hard drive just yet unless ready to hand over your first born.
