The HP Mobile Innovation Tour is showing off technologies that HP expects us to be using in 2012. At the heart of HP’s vision is a wireless gateway or hub (in the form factor of a watch for example) that will let all the devices you carry with you communicate with each other(where have I heard that before?). Among the devices that you will carry with you are a Media Mat, a foldable device used for content suited to a larger display, a digital wallet that will track your transactions in real time, new laptops and tablet PCs promising to be even thinner and equipped with longer life batteries, and a digital pen that will remember everything that you wrote.
When you get home or the office, a Smart Shelf will let you not only recharge your gear but also display information from them.
