It seems that there is a new Asus Eee PC model out every day! This time, a company representative revealed that Asus is planning to release an Eee PC with 3G connectivity early as the end of September in Europe.
ASUS has already announced (and demonstrated) a WiMAX-enabled Eee PC 901 model which is expected to be offered by mobile carriers bundled with a service plan. A similar move for carriers offering 3G makes sense.
Pricing for the 3G-enabled Asus Eee PC will likely depend upon the length of the contract and pricing for an unlocked version has not been announced yet.
