Fido launches new brand and services

Fido, a Rogers Wireless subsidiary and Canada’s fourth largest mobile carrier, has relaunched itself with a new brand and services.

The new Fido brings more simplicity and predictability to Canadians’ monthly wireless costs while offering low prices, market-leading customer care, and preferred capabilities for consumers to master their wireless destiny.

The new Fido will also offer an exclusive customer ‘owner’s guarantee’ which includes low prices, usage alerts, easy price plan switching, and the choice to have no term contract, along with the industry-leading benefits of FidoRewards. The latter is a rewards program where customers earn FidoDollars on plan eligible fees. They can use these to get new phones or accessories, new options or extra time in the case of prepaid service customers.

New plans start at CAD$15 per month for ‘all-in’ plans and CAD$25 per month for plans with unlimited text messages. Existing customers will retain their current plans with the benefits of the FidoRewards.
