It would appear that rumours that Apple would announce updates to its Mac and Mac mini desktops have been put to rest by Apple. In an unusual move, an Apple representative confirmed that Apple will not announce any further products before the holidays.
“Our holiday line-up is set,” Apple spokesman Bill Evans told Macworld.
The Mac Pro and iMac were last updated earlier this year while the Mac mini last received an upgrade in 2007.
Perhaps we will see Apple desktop updates at Macworld in January 2009.
