Google updates iPhone applications

Google announced today that it has made updates to the integrated Google experience on the iPhone and iPod touch. The update streamlined the interface even further, making the applications faster and improving their usability.

Among the improvements are an improved user interface, making it easier to activate, navigate and use the applications, the ability to customize the applications that appear on the Google.com menu bar, faster Gmail and Calendar applications and access to iGoogle gadgets.

To access the new Google applications from your iPhone, simply navigate to www.google.com on the iPhone Safari browser. The full range of mobile products and services available from Google is available at mobile.google.com.
