The FCC has cleared the HTC Raph101. Details posted so far as slim and don’t reveal exactly what HTC device this refers to. It’s likely though that this is a new HTC Touch Pro variant. Not only did HTC use the codename Raphael for the HTC Touch Pro during development but the FCC already approved the Raph100, which is known to be a Touch Pro. This suggests that this is a new Touch Pro variant, hopefully this time with support for North American 3G bands.
One of the FCC documents requests short-term confidentiality until November 30th, which would ensure that details are not revealed before various carriers can announce the HTC Touch Pro for their networks.
Or, I could be wrong and this is a new device…
