Yesterday, Microsoft unveiled the latest member of the Zune family: The “Gears of War 2” Special Edition 120GB Zune. Based on the upcoming game, the new Zune will come with a laser-etched Crimson Omen on the new gloss black enclosure, collectible “Gears of War” packaging, and 244 pieces of “Gears of War” media including the original game soundtrack, behind-the-scenes videos, game trailers and concept art galleries.
The limited edition Zune will sell for USD$279.99 (USD$30 more than the normal edition) but will not be available until November 7th, the same day that Gears of War 2 hits the street. But you can pre-order it now from stores like Walmart.com and Amazon.com in the U.S. and Amazon.ca, BestBuy.ca, FutureShop.ca and TheSource.ca in Canada.
