MSI has pushed back the shipment date of the MSI Wind due to battery shortages related to a battery factory back in March. MSI now indicates that the both Linux and Windows XP versions of the MSI Wind will launch on June 27th.
The Windows XP model, originally scheduled to ship with a 6-cell battery for USD$499 will now ship with a 3-cell battery for USD$479 instead. A 6-cell model will follow later, presumably at the original USD$499 price.
