MoDaCo is the latest to have landed details about the upcoming HTC Diamond and Raphael. According to what they have learned, HTC will likely announce both at their upcoming May 6th event as the HTC Touch Diamond (Diamond) and the HTC Touch Pro (Raphael). They also expect that a third device, the HTC Touch Dual Pro (codenamed HTC Titanium), could be announced.
The Diamond and Raphael will both be powered by a 528MHz Qualcomm processor and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. They will come with 7.2MB HSDPA/HSUPA or EV-DO Rev.A connectivity (confirming that both GSM and CDMA versions will exist), a 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, eGPS, a backfacing 3.1MP camera and a forward facing one, an accelerometer to rotate the screen orientation automatically, an FM radio and a microSD expansion slot. The Diamond will also come with 4GB of internal Flash memory while the Raphael will come with TV output. Both will come with a 900mAh battery; battery life could prove to be rather short!
Very little is known about the HTC Titanium at this time. It could be a Diamond variant with a 12 or 20 key slider but this is firmly in the rumour department.
Best of all, the GSM version of the HTC Diamond could be out as early as Q2 in Europe with Raphael following in Q3.
