Quanta, the Taiwan-based notebook and other electronics OEM, announced plans to release a number of Mobile Internet Devices (MID) under its own brand in 2009. The news came from Barry Lam, the chairman of Quanta.
He also revealed that samples are already in the hands of clients.
Details about the MIDs themselves were not revealed.
