T-Mobile to have RIM Kickstart and HTC Dream exclusives?

T-Mobile

According to TmoNews.com, T-Mobile has landed exclusives for two much-anticipated mobile devices: The BlackBerry Kickstart (expected to be formally known as the BlackBerry Pearl 8220) and the HTC Dream.

T-Mobile is expected to have a 90-day exclusive on the BlackBerry Kickstart and it will launch TV, radio and Internet advertising campaigns in mid-September to heavily promote it in time for its October 6 street date.

It also looks now like the October launch of the Google Android-powered HTC Dream will be another T-Mobile 90-day exclusive. It will also have its own advertising campaign starting on September 17th (along with an existing T-Mobile customer pre-sale?). T-Mobile expects that the HTC Dream could be their biggest seller in 2008.

The BlackBerry Kickstart will be available in either read or black and is expected to sell for about USD$50 with a two-year service contract. The HTC Dream will be available in black, white or brown and is expected to cost USD$149.99, also with a two-year service contract.
