We know that ASUS is set to shortly release the clamshell M930W Communicator. MobiFrance got to spend about 10 minutes with it and have a number of pictures of the device.
They also provide a number of new details. According to them, it will be powered by a 450MHz TI processor (earlier rumours had it as a 400MHz processor) and Windows Mobile Standard. It will come with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and single band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, an internal 2.6-inch display (no word to confirm whether the resolution is 400×240 as reported earlier) and an external 2-inch display, 64MB RAM and 256MB ROM, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi (contrary to earlier reports), Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, a 2MP camera, and a microSDHC expansion slot.
MobiFrance also reports that the M930W will be available starting in March and will sell for 459€.
