First Huawei Android smartphone to be T-Mobile Pulse

T-Mobile Pulse

Back in April, Huawei had confirmed earlier this year that it was working on a Google Android smartphone for T-Mobile. It looks like that date is getting closer as Dutch online store belsimple.nl is now offering the T-Mobile Pulse for pre-order.

The site provides a good overview of the specifications. The Pulse will be powered by Android 1.5. It will come with GSM/GPRS/EDGE and HSPA connectivity, a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen display, built-in GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.2MP camera with auto-focus as well as a front-facing camera, a microSD card slot, and an FM radio.

The T-Mobile Pulse is expected to begin shipping in October. It is being offered for €257 (about US$370) without a contract, making it one of if not the most affordable Android phone yet.
