Palm has released an over-the-air update for the Pre and its webOS operating system. Version 1.0.3 does not come with any new applications but comes with a number of enhancements and fixes. Among these are:
- Faster synchronization between the Pre and Google services
- Support for non-SSL Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) mail servers
- Miscellaneous updates for Email, Phone, and other applications
Your Palm Pre should have received a background message about the upgrade, allowing you to start the 13MB download. If not, you can check manually by opening ‘Updates’.
