Verizon Wireless announced today that it will offer the Samsung Omnia II starting on December 2nd. Samsung had already revealed this but now you know what day to line up at your nearest store.
The Verizon version of the Samsung Omnia II is powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional with the TouchWiz 2.0 user interface. It comes with EV-DO Rev. A connectivity, a 3.7inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, 8GB of internal memory, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 5MP camera with flash and auto-focus, and a microSD card slot (supporting cards up to 16GB). It will be offered in black with red accents on the battery cover.
Verizon will offer the Samsung Omnia II for US$199.99 after a US$100 mail-in rebate and a two-year contract.
