Google Android Honeycomb

On the heels of Google’s Android 3.1 update comes word that another update is not far behind. Honeycomb will get one last update before ita makes way for the upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich release.

Citing “three independent sources,” ThisIsMyNext.com has learned that Honeycomb 3.2 will add support for 7-inch displays, support for Qualcomm processors, updates to Movie Studio, Movies, Music and widgets, improved hardware acceleration, and the usual bug fixes.

The Honeycomb 3.2 update should be available in the “next few weeks” for tablets such as the Motorola XOOM. Seven-inch tablets should follow in the August timeframe. It remains to be seen if current Qualcomm 7-inch tablets such as the HTC Flyer will be upgraded to Honeycomb 3.2.

There is no official word from Google yet.
