An ASUS spokesperson reached by The Verge has denied that the company is delaying the launch of the ASUS Transformer Prime due to Wi-Fi issues. The response reads:
I am trying to confirm who released this statement and for what purpose right now. At this point, we still show to be on schedule to start shipments the week of 12/19. I will provide an update once I have additional information.
It would be good to hear from NCIX themselves to see if this was no more than a joke or if they have information not available to the ASUS spokesperson.
