ASUS has given The Verge the US launch dates for its Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet. Online availability is expected on December 12th with availability at brick-and-mortar stores to follow on December 19th. This is a bit later than earlier estimates had suggested. ASUS warned though that the dates could change but only slightly based on the number of pre-orders that need to be filled first.

The 32GB version of the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime will be available for US$499 while the 64GB version will sell for US$599. The optional keyboard dock will cost an additional US$149. Pricing in Canada is the same.
