Google begins pushing out Google Nexus S Voice Search bug fix

Google Nexus SAs promised, Google has released an Android update with a fix for a Voice Search bug that affected the Google Nexus S. It’s unclear what other fixes and enhancements there could be in the update:

This OTA update will upgrade your device to Gingerbread 2.3.6. It contains important bug fixes and security patches.

As Google points out, it may still take a few days for the update to be deployed to everyone. If you’re impatient (like me), you can do a *#*#checkin#*#* to check if the update is available. It worked for me and my Nexus S is now running Android 2.3.6 (Build number GRK39C, baseband I9020AUCKF1)
