Google Nexus S coming to Canada

Google Nexus S

MobileSyrup.com has learned that the Google Nexus S will make its way north of the border. The confirmation comes from Paul Brannen, Vice President at Samsung Mobile Canada. Samsung is the company that manufactures the Nexus S for Google.

There are no details as to which carrier could offer it. In its current configuration, only AWS-compatible carriers (Public Mobile, Videotron, and WIND Mobile) will be able to offer it. Alternatively, Samsung will release a second model offering support for different bands, opening the door for Bell, Rogers, or TELUS to offer it (something that Google did with the original Nexus One).

We may not have to wait too long to find out as the Google Nexus S is expected here sometime this quarter. Pricing information was not revealed.
