The CDMA variant of the upcoming HP Pre 3 has obtained FCC certification, putting one step closer to its launch. The documents published show that this Pre 3 model will also support quad-band GSM and dual-band WCDMA connectivity, making it a world phone. It also shows 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR connectivity.
A separate FCC filing indicates that there will also be a GSM-only Pre 3 model.
The HP Pre 3 is expected to launch sometime this summer.
