Mobilicity has already confirmed that the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is coming soon to the carrier but the exact launch date has remained a bit of a mystery. The carrier’s CEO, Dave Dobbin, promised via Twitter that it was only “weeks away.” Thanks to a tip and a hint today, it looks like the launch window has been narrowed down to the first week of October.
First, MobileSyrup.com today received a tip suggesting that the launch would happen at the beginning of October. Second, responding via Twitter to some enquiries, Dobbin indicated that the launch would happen in “fewer days than you have fingers and toes.” That suggests a launch on or before October 7th.
Pricing has not been revealed but the BlackBerry Bold 9900 sells for around the CA$600 mark with other Canadian carriers.
