T-Mobile USA yesterday announced that it will launch the HTC Wildfire S, an entry-level Android smartphone, on August 3rd. It will be available in white from T-Mobile retail stores and online store and in black exclusively from from Walmart and Sam’s Club.

T-Mobile USA will offer the HTC Wildfire S for US$79.99 after a US$50 mail-in-rebate and with a two-year contract.
