The Android 4.0 update for the original ASUS Eee Pad Transformer has slipped further out. Its last update suggested an end of January launch but that has now been pushed out. According to a Facebook response by ASUS North America to a post yesterday, the update is now scheduled for mid-February.
It’s not clear if the Google certification process is taking longer than anticipated or if ASUS has decided to take a little bit longer to make sure that everything is working properly, especially after it ran into a few issues with the Transformer Prime update.
