As promised, Samsung Canada today confirmed that it has begun to push out its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S III [product information]. The first devices to get the update are ones from Bell, Rogers and TELUS. The rollout is expected to continue throughout the week.
If you have not received your notification about the update yet, you can also check manually under Settings by selecting About phone > System updates > Check Now.
As for Galaxy S III users with Mobilicity, SaskTel, Vidéotron and WIND Mobile, Samsung hopes to have a release date “soon.”
