Samsung Canada today annnounced via Twitter that it is making good on its promise to have Jelly Bean updates out before the holidays. Its much anticipated Android 4.1 (or could it be Android 4.2?) update for the Samsung Galaxy S III [product information] will begin rolling out in Canada on December 3rd:
Jelly Bean starts rolling out to GALAXY S III owners over-the-air Monday. Stay tuned for more Jelly Bean announcements soon!
There is no word yet on how the rollout will proceed. For example, could certain carriers get it first?
The promise of additional Jelly Bean announcements suggests that other Samsung devices (likely the Galaxy Note) could soon see Android Jelly Bean updates.
