October 29th is going to be an interesting day. Not only is Microsoft launching Windows Phone 8 then but the rumours that Google would host an event as well have turned out to be accurate. Google has begun to send out invitations for an Android event set to take place in New York City. Let’s hope that the tag line “The playground is open” is a hint that the Nexus playground is now open to more than one manufacturer at a time.
The event is widely expected to see Google and LG unveil the Nexus 4 (and hopefully other devices). Let’s hope that this is the case and not just an announcement for a 32GB version of the Nexus 7 tablet.
