As widely expected, HTC today unveiled two new Windows Phone devices, the Windows Phone 8X and Windows Phone 8S. Described as “hero products” by CEO Peter Chou, they are the result of close cooperation between HTC and Microsoft.

Both the Windows Phone 8X and 8S will launch in November with 150 operators in over 50 countries. The Windows Phone 8X by HTC will be carried by AT&T, T-Mobile USA, and Verizon. Rogers has also confirmed that it will carry it in both 8GB and 16GB configurations. Pricing was not announced.
