HTC today announced that the HTC One X smartphone, its latest flagship device, is now available in Canada exclusively from Rogers. It is the first smartphone in the HTC One series to be available in North America.
“We’re excited to exclusively bring our customers the HTC One X and the premium mobile experience it brings as Canada’s first smartphone with Beats Audio and the first of the HTC One series,” says Raj Doshi, Senior Vice President, Products, Rogers Communications. “Operating on Canada’s fastest and largest LTE network will allow customers a best-in-class audio and picture experience to upload images quickly, download albums and stream HD music videos, with virtually no delays or buffering.”
Given that the Rogers HTC One X supports LTE connectivity, it comes with a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor rather than the quad-core Tegra 3 processor found in the international version.
Rogers is offering the HTC One X for CA$169.99 with a three-year contract, CA$524.99 with a two-year contract, CA$574.99 with a one-year contract, or CA$624.99 with no contract.
