As first announced yesterday during its event with Verizon, most Motorola Android devices released from 2011 onwards will be upgraded to Jelly Bean. It also promised a US$100 credit for those devices that would not be upgraded due to hardware limitations.

It today launched a trade-in sitelet where you can go to register to be notified of when your phone’s Jelly Bean upgrade is released or how to to trade in your phone and take advantage of the credit.
The fine print states that the offer is only available to “United States sales of Android Motorola smartphones first offered in 2011 or later.” We’ve reached out to Motorola Canada to see if they will offer a similar program.
Update: Motorola Canada provided us with the following response: “Motorola is evaluating which devices will receive the Jelly Bean upgrade. We will release more details as soon as we have them.” Canadian owners will need to keep their fingers crossed a while longer.
