While AT&T will be the exclusive U.S. carrier for the Windows Phone 8-powered Nokia Lumia 920, it looks like there a variant could also headed to Verizon. This suggests that Nokia is adopting a similar strategy to what it is doing with the Lumia 820 and a number of carrier-specific variants such as the Lumia 810 for T-Mobile USA.
According to @NokiaPureView, a Lumia 9xx variant is headed to Verizon. Given that Verizon is already rumoured to be getting the Lumia 822, this highe-end model could end being the Lumia 922.
Few details are provided but it is described as very similar to the Lumia 920 but “thinner and lighter.” As for pictures, this is the best we have so far:
@NokiaPureView suggests that the Lumia 922 could be announced at the end of the year or at CES 2013.
