Just days ago, a leaked Sony Mobile Communications roadmap revealed that the Xperia S announced at CES would soon after be followed up by three additional devices. Among those is the Sony Ericsson ST25i ‘Kumquat.’ A picture of it has now surfaced with the Sony Ericsson name. The image still shows it as branded Sony Ericsson but that’s likely to change by the time it is officially announced.
The Sony Ericsson ST25i ‘Kumquat’ is rumoured to come with a 1GHz dual-core processor, Android a 3.5-inch FWGA (480 x 854) display and a 5MP camera. It also sports the transparent element at the base that defines Sony’s new “Iconic Identity.”
With a launch date as early as April, it is likely that an announcement will be made at next month’s Mobile World Congress.
