Sony has already confirmed that it will upgrade the Sony Tablet S and Tablet P to Android 4.0. Missing until now was a time frame.
The manufacturer yesterday told The Verge that it plans to offer the updates at about the same time that it offers the update to its Xperia smartphone line. This suggests that the update could begin as early as March or April.
One new detail also surfaced. Sony plans to add “some really cool unique bits” to Android 4.0 for its tablets. Exactly what those would be was not revealed though.
