Virgin Mobile Canada today launched its first Windows Phone 8 device, the Windows Phone 8S by HTC [product information]. The smaller sibling to the Windows Phone 8X by HTC, it comes with a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 and 4-inch WVGA (800×480) super LCD display. Virgin is offering it blue.
Virgin Mobile is offering the Windows Phone 8S for CA$79.99 on its Virgin Mobile SuperTab or with a three-year contract for for CA$279.99 on a month-to-month or prepaid basis. It is available through www.virginmobile.ca, Virgin Mobile retail stores and The Source.
