It was quiet on the Huawei Windows Phone 8 smartphone front but that has changed this week. A number of actual device pictures leaked out earlier and today have been followed up with what appears to be a press image.
The new image is very similar to the ones seen earlier, giving them further credence.
Huawei was named among Microsoft’s partners when it announced Windows Phone 8 back in June. It confirmed shortly after that its first Windows Phone 8 device would be out by the end of the year. Since then, it has been quiet. Could we have to wait until 2013 to see the Huawei Ascend W1 or are the leaks an indication an announcement is imminent?
