Chromecast App available in Play Store

Chromecast on Google Play

We did an in-depth article yesterday on Chromecast you may want to read, but if you already have Chromecast in your possession, on order, or getting ready to order one, then you can go to Google Play Store and download the Chromecast app now. The description in the Play Store reads:

Chromecast is the easiest way to enjoy online video and anything from the web on your TV. Plug it into any HDTV and control it with your existing smartphone, tablet, or laptop. No remotes required. Cast your favorites from Google Play, YouTube, Netflix, and Chrome to your TV with the press of a button.

Use the Chromecast app to:
• Set up your Chromecast to work with your Wi-Fi network
• Manage your Chromecast settings (such as changing your device name, Wi-Fi password, etc.)

It does not do much if your Chromecast has not yet arrived, like mine, but to hold me over, I like to look at the app on my phone. Click below to go straight to the Play Store.
