More Canadian carriers to offer LG G2

LG G2Shortly after LG unveiled the LG G2 flagship smartphone, both Rogers and TELUS Mobility announced their plans to offer it in the near future. LG Canada today announced that the unique device with volume and power buttons on the back rather than the side will be available more widely than initially thought.

“In developing the LG G2, we listened to and learned from what consumers were telling us they wanted in a premium smartphone,” said Geoffrey McMurdo, Vice President Mobile Communications, LG Canada. “LG G2 features a unique design with an ultra thin display bezel and innovative rear key, intuitive user experience and time saving innovations. Through our strong carrier and retail partnerships, our most exciting and ambitious mobile phone, the LG G2 will be available to Canadians nationally this fall.”

 

Alongside Rogers and TELUS, the following will also carry the LG G2: Bell Mobility, SaskTel, Videotron and WIND Mobile. It will also be offered through a number of national retailers including Best Buy, Future Shop, Target Mobile, Tbooth wireless, The Source, WIRELESS etc. and WIRELESSWAVE.

There is still no word on pricing or specific availability beyond a general “this fall.”
