Samsung to launch four new tablets in Q1 2014?

Samsung

Earlier rumours suggested that Samsung was planning to launch five new smartphones in the first quarter of 2014. This would include a new flagship smartphone, likely the Galaxy S5, along with two mid-tier ones and two entry-level ones. Now sources have told SamMobile that Samsung is also planning to launch four new tablets in the same time frame.

One very likely candidate is Samsung’s new entry level Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (SM-T110/SM-T111) which could cost as little as €100 (about CA$145). Another oft-rumoured candidate would be the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 (SM-P900 and variants). Other possibilities include a larger 13.3-inch model which could dual-boot to Android or Windows (the Samsung ATIV Q reborn perhaps?) as well as an 8- or 10-inch model with an AMOLED display.

With 2014 and major events such as CES and MWC not too far now, it should not be too long before Samsung’s Q1 2014 tablet plans are revealed.
