Samsung Taiwan has released a short video teaser. Called “Just for you,” it hints at a smartphone but little is in fact revealed. All we are told is that it is:
- Just fit
- Just simple
- Just elegant
- Just fast (with a reference to LTE)
It would be easy to jump to the conclusion that this is Samsung’s first hint for the Galaxy S5 or even its rumoured higher-end version but it is likely still too early for the Samsung marketing machine to start the hype for its next flagship smartphone. The fact that the video appears only on the Samsung Taiwan YouTube channel at this point also suggests that it would well be a teaser for a local announcement rather than a new global one.
As for timing, a Galaxy Gear smartwatch also suggests that whatever is being teased could be announced on December 9 at 1300, presumably local time.
All in all, there is little to go on. Rest assured that we’ll follow this story and see where it takes us.
