TELUS today once again announced that it has expanded its LTE network to new communities. This time, the beneficiaries are Cobourg and Port Hope in Ontario.

TELUS offers a wide range of LTE smartphones including the recently-launched BlackBerry Q5, BlackBerry Z30, Nokia Lumia 1020, Samsung GALAXY Mega, and Samsung GS4 and GS3 Minis. It also offers other devices, including tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE and data sticks like the Huawei E397 4G LTE Mobile Internet Key.

Cobourg, ON TELUS has brought the world’s fastest and most advanced wireless technology to Cobourg and Port Hope. This expansion of TELUS’ 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) service to these communities means residents can take advantage of dramatically faster wireless Internet speeds when surfing the web, reading emails, listening to music, watching videos, or using social media sites on an LTE-enabled smartphone or wireless device.

TELUS’ 4G LTE service, which offers customers wireless data (upload and download) speeds two to three times faster than previous technology, now covers 80 per cent of Canada’s population across more than 200 communities.
