Unlocked BlackBerry Q10 and Z10 now available directly from BlackBerry in U.S.

Q10 and Z10 on sale at ShopBlackBerryT-Mobile has already confirmed that it will stop selling BlackBerry devices at its retail stores. Other carriers may soon follow suit as well. Perhaps seeing that the writing is on the on the wall, BlackBerry has begun to sell its Q10 and Z10 BlackBerry 10 smartphones directly to customers directly through its website in the U.S.

Both models offer LTE connectivity with compatibility with GSM carriers that include both AT&T and T-Mobile.

The BlackBerry Z10 sells for US$449 while the BlackBerry Q10 is available for US$549. It should help those in the U.S. that still want to use a BlackBerry device. It may also help BlackBerry move a few of those Z10s that forced it to take a “Z10 Inventory Charge” of US$934 million earlier this week.

The program is currently limited to the U.S. and requires a U.S. shipping address. There is no word on whether BlackBerry will expand the program to Canada.
