While the Samsung Galaxy Round will not make it to Canada or the U.S. (or anywhere outside of South Korea for that matter), we can still see how Samsung is marketing it courtesy of the first ad it has released to promote its smartphone with a curved display:
The ad suggests that swiping a curved display is as natural as swiping other curved objects such as bottles, microphones, eggs and avocados!
In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Round is very similar to the Galaxy Note 3 but lacks S Pen support. It also has some unique features such as Roll Effect that use the fact that it comes with a curved display.
LG yesterday officially unveiled its first curved display smartphone, the LG G Flex, so Samsung will now have a bit of competition in this new category of smartphones.
