Android Wear ads show what you can do “at a glance”

Google Android WearGoogle formally unveiled Android Wear back in March and the first smartwatches powered by the new Android extension launched earlier this summer. More, including the much anticipated Moto 360, are coming soon but smartwatches remain a device whose benefits still eludes many. In a bid to remedy that, Google has released four new Android Wear ads that showcase what it can do “at a glance.”

Introducing Android Wear. Watches powered by Android Wear organize your information, suggests what you need, and shows it to you before you even ask.

The ads showcases Android Wear’s voice commands that let you send text messages and perform searches and its card-based interface that can easily provide contextual information such as the latest traffic without ever having to pull out your smartphone.

The LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live are the first Android Wear smartwatches to be available. Motorola’s Moto 360 will be formally unveiled on September 4 and we hope that it launches shortly after. ASUS and HTC are among the other manufacturers rumoured to be bringing Android Wear smartwatches to market in the coming weeks or months.
