Chromecast adds support for MLS Live, Google+ Photos and more

Google Chromecast

Google yesterday announced that more content apps now support Chromecast and the ability to cast their content to your television.

With football (of the soccer variety) about to grab the global spotlight with the FIFA World Cup, the WatchESPN app will now let you cast all 64 World Cup games as well as all of the other sports carried by the U.S. sports channel. Continuing with the football team, the MLS Matchday app is now also supported for a more local flavour of the game (Go Toronto FC!) for subscribers of the MLS LIVE service.

Google has also added support for its own Google+ photos and videos app as well as CrunchyRoll for the anime fans out there.

The necessary apps are all available for download through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Once updated, simply look for the cast button to let the magic happen. You can also check out more Chromecast apps through Chromecast.com/apps.
