Jolla smartphone lands in India

Jolla smartphone powered by SailfishAfter announcing this summer that it would soon launch in India, the Jolla smartphone is now available there exclusively on, India’s largest e-commerce marketplace.

While the Jolla smartphone is powered by the Sailfish OS (based on Meego), it can run not only native apps but also Android apps available through  the Russian Yandex Store, giving it access to a wide range of apps.

The Jolla smartphone running Sailfish OS is now available through Snapdeal for Rs. 16,499 (about CA$300).
